I've been planning a sleeping platform for my Outback recently. My work is about to require I travel overnight on occasion to small towns without any real hotels, ironically to help them promote tourism.
I'd rather sleep in my comfy car than in a filthy motel

thanks, my goal is to not need a rooftop cargo box that paints a giant fucking "break in and steal this" on my car
thinking emergency supplies (compressor, fak, can of fix a flat) in the footwell behind the driver, clothes behind passenger, and FPV... somewhere, maybe on top of the emergency supplies. It's just a backpack, but it needs to be on top and not squished
apart from that I'll rig a folding platform to give myself a little extra legroom/headroom, probably a gel cushion, and double sleeping bag

I just go to the woods. I don't really need to do something special there, it just always gives me peace and power

Neat, I haven't been on a day trip to the parks near me in a long time. Either at work, cycling, or it's too snake-y and muggy
